In the process of injection molding, plastic material produces silver streaks due to the interference of gas, and silver streaks are called splay marks, splash marks as well. The origin of gas is mainly caused by air, plastic moisture, and degradation gas (long duration of heating). GY-STK-01, made by GYC Group, is a plastic anti-silver streak promoter focusing on a wide range of innovative compound materials. GY-STK-01 improves the viscosity of the melted resin, prevents higher viscosity polymer from producing silver streaks due to the temperature differences while fining the tube and entering the mold, in the process of extrusion and ejection.

GY-STK-01 plastic anti-silver streak promoters can be used on a wide range of compound materials in their process of ejection, extrusion, and granulation. GY-STK-01 improves stability and integrity, reduces silver streaks. Furthermore, GY-STK-01 boosts the heat resistance of polymer efficiently, prevents plastic from decomposition and deterioration caused by heat, and makes the product aesthetic.
